Welcome to the Nigeria Digital Health Initiative (NDHI), a groundbreaking effort to revolutionize healthcare in our country through digital transformation. As the Honourable Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, I am proud to introduce this initiative, which is a crucial part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR’s vision for a healthier, more prosperous Nigeria.

The NDHI aims to integrate digital technologies into a cohesive system that enhances healthcare delivery across Nigeria. Our key components include the widespread adoption of electronic medical records (EMR), the establishment of a national health information exchange (HIE), and the promotion of digital health literacy.

This Initiative is a collaborative effort involving the Ministry of Health & Social Welfare, healthcare providers, and stakeholders (public and private) across Nigeria. By consolidating patient information and facilitating seamless data exchange, we can create a unified healthcare system that benefits everyone. The NDHI is not just about technology; it’s about people. It’s about ensuring that every Nigerian, regardless of their location or socioeconomic status, has access to high-quality healthcare.
