THE NDHI COMMITTEE
In March 2024, the Honourable Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare inaugurated the NDHI Implementation Committee to help midwife data policy regulation, repository management and serve as an ombudsman to establish the digital health architecture.
The 20-person multi-sectoral committee, chaired by the honourable minister compromises of a diverse group of individuals with extensive experience and pertinent skills in digital health, cybersecurity, information communications technology (ICT), healthcare administration and operations.

Standards
and Solutions
Ensures the development and implementation of robust standards and innovative solutions, in compliance with international standards and best practices.

Governance
and Regulations
Covers the restructuring of digital health governance, review and update of policies in line with evolving digital health landscape and establishment of robust date privacy guidelines for patient information and protection.

Infrastructure
and Services
The committee will focus on evaluating and improving the physical infrastructure, software and essential services needed.

Stakeholder
and Workforce Management
Ensures the committee prioritises change management, stakeholder alignment, financing and development for education and training to support the healthcare workforce.
